Susan Thorn is an immigration attorney based in New York City with over 19 years of immigrant and refugee rights advocacy experience in the U.S. and the United Kingdom. Prior to establishing her solo practice in 2018, Susan practiced U.S. immigration law with two well-established New York-based immigration law firms as an Associate and several large nonprofit immigration legal service providers in New York City as a Staff Attorney.
She has assisted and counseled thousands of immigrants on a wide range of matters before the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services, Immigration and Customs Enforcement, and Customs and Border Protection), U.S. Department of State, the Board of Immigration Appeals, and in Immigration Court and New York Family Court.
